Tram Car Cafe @ 32 Square, Section 19, PJ

Okay, a short one.
It was a dinner date with KC at Tram Car Cafe @ Three Two Square, PJ.
He picked this restaurant because he heard the food there quite nice.
So we went for a try!

In correspond to the name "Tram Car Cafe", this restaurant was designated based on the Portuguese tram car theme.
For your better understanding, this is how a tram car looks like :p

Photo taken from google

The environment was delightful and classy, however it was spoiled when they turned the radio on and it was channel 988. Not to say I dislike this channel, the point is, don't you think it was kinda weird and wasn't really match the atmosphere?  Hmmm...

Another thing was, I was a bit shocked when the waitress came to take our order.
She asked "Leng lui, 要吃什麼?" (in cantonese).

...........

Okay, big sweat on my forehead =.=lll

Forget about that, let's look at what we had for our dinner.

Bread with butter as starter

Chicken chop with brown gravy for me

Baked fish with white sauce for him

Honeydew juice for me
For me, the taste was just average, not bad and yet not impressive.  Luckily, the price was reasonable.  For fish and chicken were in the range of RM 15- RM 20 only.  It will be more expensive if you order lamb, beef or seafood.

Re-visit? Hmmm, maybe not.. :-X

That's all for this post, here I ended with my hungry face.

Weekly Crappy: Foodsssss

Hi lovelies, “weekly crappy” is back, which indicates hectic life is beginning soon because there are final year research project, clerkship works and test awaiting for me before I can graduate successfully.. fml. Yet, I believe in "no pain no gain", we need to put in efforts to get something back, agree?

#1: Dinner at Waku-waku @ Mid Valley

Sis came over my place for few days, went Waku-waku for the first time to have a try.  It is located at the same floor as GSC cinema, kinda attracted by the interior design.  Unlike any other Japanese restaurants, it offered fusion food such as Japanese-styled nasi lemak and char kuey teow.  We didn't have the courage to try those, so what I ordered was Tori katsu rice (as shown above) and my sis had mentaiko pasta. To be honest, what I ordered wasn't really impressive even though the portion was quite big.  But in terms of service and environment, they did a great work!

#2: New opening: Nadeje @ Two Three Square

The mille crepe in Nadeje was one of the most unforgettable food I had in Malacca.  Glad to know that they had just opened a new branch in Two Three Square, Section 19, PJ, which is so near to where I am staying.    It was quite crowded on the first day and too bad was, not many seats there :'(  So no choice, have to da pao it home.  Tried the one with mango flavor and another one called berry-berry strawberry. Both are so nice for me!

#3: Restoran Talipon @ Jalan Kuchai Lama

Friends were so eager to go, which made me wonder how good the foods are. Almost got lost while on the way there as it was not really obvious from outside.  Other than steamboat and BBQ, they did offered lou sang, fake shark fin, ice-cream and D.I.Y ice kacang as well!  Everything was in buffet style, you can choose whatever you like as long as you stomach have enough space :p It was quite a good place to gather with some friends after a long week and the big kid like me had a lot of fun to play around with the ice kacang machine, lol!

#4: Marmalade Cafe @ Bangsar Village II

KC and I were so hungry at that time, so walked in Marmalade cafe without considering much.  The decor was quite adorable inside, kids would definitely love this place.  To my surprise, not many options of food here.  And another bigger surprise, the breakfast sets available until 3pm =.=  I ordered chicken bolognese (RM23) as it is my all time favourite.  Too bad the taste was so so only and a bit too salty.

*               *               *               *               *               *               *               *

Pharmnight is around the corner again, time flies!  After searching maxi dress from Kenanga wholesale city to Bangsar village and boutiques nearby, finally got my dress in Mid Valley.. =.=
Wanna see? Hehe, let me keep it as secret first, show you after the event on coming Saturday.

Stay tuned!

Cheers!^^

Weekly Crappy: I'm Back!

Hola people, it was weeks ago since my last blog post. If you would like to know why, I can proudly tell you that because I was busy doing my thesis protocol! Gosh, had spent my entire semester on it and finally I had submitted this morning! First time ever take things so seriously, HAHAHA.

Life was so miserable in last few weeks, especially when all the deadlines were chasing behind you. In addition to that, there were tests, role plays, and bla bla bla. Thanks god, I am still surviving :D

Since my life was so dull these days, totally have nothing to share here. No earning from Nuffnang either, sad case! (If you see this, do help me click the ads okay! hehehe)

Just a few random pictures to show!

#1: My 滋潤養顏 apple sweet soup.
You can do it yourself too! What you need are apple, goji (杞子) and red jujube (紅棗) only! Put them with sufficient water into rice cooker and get ready in one hour!

#2: My Heng Wah's style Char Kuey Teow, drooling? Lol.

#3: Was craving for taiwanese food so much on one day. So went 趣台北@SS2 for dinner :p

#4: Amelia's birthday celebration at Wong Kok@SS2. The best place for birthday celebration because of the free drinks!
HAHA

#5: Got this hat from my little buddy, Szyuin all the way from S'pore. Have no idea when and where to use it. So just to take photo with it lar.. Look "chio"?XD

My face condition is getting worse after burning midnight oil for so many days. Took me really a lot of time to photoshop my picture before posting them up :p My blog writing is getting worse too, especially after writing a lot of scientific stuffs.. Feeling weird to write these kind of casual topics.. =.=

Anyway, that's all for this time, till then, see you again!
*Do miss me k!

Weekly Crappy: Crap post

Back from mid-semester break more than one week. To be more exact, it wasn't really like a holiday as in there were lots of works for me to settle. I have so much to share with you all but unfortunately, last week was miserable, totally busy like hell with my thesis proposal.

I still remember the "Community Outreach Program" I joined on the first day of mid-semester break.  A pharmacist on duty that day, Aidan said "You all seems like very cheerful and have no stress at all".  Then I told him "You won't be able to see these kind of happy faces after today".  So yea, it's true!

Just some photos to show :)

#1: Dinner at Burger Lab @ Paramount, PJ
It was three weeks ago, time flies! For me, the food was just average, but I truly like the enthusiasm of waiters there in serving customers.

#2: Bacon pasta at Retro Kitchen @ SS2, PJ
It was the third time I went to this place. Not because of the food, just simply because I love the cozy and vintage atmosphere there.
.
#3: Guess who drew this?
 Answer: me!
Haha, I know my drawing skill is at kindergarden level la (some kids even can draw better than me), the most important is the meaning behind: Quit smoking to have better quality of life and to avoid any unwanted diseases.  Drew this for the silent protest under Community Outreach Program at Setapak.  It was definitely a good experience for me and please quit smoking for whom you care.

#4: Lunch at Coconut House @ Jaya One
Went there for lunch today.  It was newly opened about one week ago.  If not mistaken, this restaurant originally from Malacca and had been closed and reopened at a few places in Klang valley (wonder to know the reasons).  Basically, they serve Italian cuisines and well known with the homemade pizza using wood fire.  I had lemon & rosemary chicken pasta (as shown above). Taste was not bad, service was quite good, interior part of the restaurant was well decorated and price was reasonable. Worth to try! :)

#5: Outfit of the day
Me with a very cute tee from F.O.S. Not really my style but I think I'm still looking good with it, HAHAHA.
(Ignore the messy background :p)

So that's all, see you again (maybe weeks later :p)

Weekly Crappy: Menu of The Week

Hello people! Again, I'm going to talk about FOOD today. *Wink*
Craving for "Ho liao" (nice food) all the time. I've no idea why. Perhaps family Fong is genetically born with strong desire to eat something good. Guess my weight will increase in an accelerating rate soon. Hope I won't turn into an obesed person years later :p

Sunday (28/10/12)
Healthy fish porridge
Ingredients: Grouper fish (石斑魚), ginger, carrot, vegetables, salts, sugars and pepper.

Monday (29/10/12)
Steamed Grouper fish
Ingredients: Grouper fish (marinated with oyster sauce), ginger, corn flour.

Tuesday (30/10/12)
Pork burger (J Tean kitchen @ SS2 Mall)
Served with potato wedges. Quite a big portion for girls but it really tasted good!

Wednesday (31/10/12)
Jane's Fried rice
Ingredients: Hot dog, mixed vegetables, ikan bilis and some seasonings.

Thursday (1/11/12)
Tomato soup
Ingredients: Tomatoes, carrot, ikan bilis, seafood tofu, salts and sugar.

Friday (2/11/12)
Chessy 7 set (Pizza Hut @ Mid Valley Megamall)
Okay, no comment about how much calories I had consumed :p

Forgot to take picture, so steal one picture from Pizza Hut website

Saturday (3/11/12)
Ebi Curry Don Set (Ichiban Ramen @ The Curve)
Good in term of price. The whole set consisted of with Ebi curry don, miso soup, water melon and gyoza at RM21++ only! But in term of taste, I think just average la, the donburi set in Sushi Zanmai is still better :p

Weekly Crappy: October Week 1

Hi there, I am getting lazier and lazier to blog recently. Came across with too many words these days (was busy finding journals for thesis proposal), until it came to a point that my brain told my eyes to stop looking at anymore words. Lol. How I wish I could draw, so that I don't have to write this kind of wordy long-winded story. Haha, *day-dreaming*.

"Weekly Crappy" gonna be a newer writing style that you can see here. To be more exact, it is a "condensed" type of blog post, i.e. I'm going to combine different happenings occurred in one week into a blog post.
Perhaps I will blog in this way more often in future. No choice, life is getting tougher! :-S

#1: Went Food Foundry @ Section 17, PJ
This was the second time I went there.  I was there one week before to try their mille crepe, went there again  to try their main courses. Lol. However, the main course was not as nice as their mille crepe, kinda disappointed. :'(

Chicken chop for me

For him (I forgot the name of this dish)

#2: Convocation 2012
Last whole week was the convocation week of UM for different faculties on different days. On Saturday was definitely the big day for all the graduates from medical faculty, including those from pharmacy department! Congratulation to all my seniors, it would be the best reward after 4-year hard works.  Mine will be in October next year, given with the condition of passing all the tests, exams and research project for sure..Haha. *finger-crossing*

Me with flowers for my buddies

Congratz buddy Jessie !!

Congratulation buddy Sue !!
#3: Dating in One Utama
The main purpose was to buy a birthday present for KC's nephew, Ryan. Kinda weird to shop for toys and surrounded by all the kids there, yet, it was an awesome experience though. Had dinner at a Taiwanese fast food outlet called 小霸王 (Haha, I blog about food again :p).  The foods there were so so only, luckily those didn't cost us a lot.

Dinner set with flower tea

Another thing was, I met blogger Bwincessnana when I was shopping there! Should have stopped her and take a photo together. I just worried of recognizing the wrong person :p Anyway, she looked really gorgeous and tall like a model.  You can check her photos out through the link above and for your information, we are at the same age!

That's all for today, here I end with my photo :p

Flawless skin credit to apps called "Camera360" haha

Going to Cameron this weekend, stay tune for my blog post about it !

Weekly-Crap

The first week of lectures in my final year was overed. Pretty like the timetable this time because only Friday class starts at 8am so can sleep more on other days, wakaka.

Let me do a quick summary of the entire week :D

#1: Huei Erh's Birthday Celebration at Plan B@Mid Valley Megamall & Alexis Bar and Bistro@ The Gardens.
On 10th September was Huei Erh, my ex-roommate's 22nd birthday.  We were in dilemma of deciding the venue for dinner.  Our plan A was Waku-Waku (A Japanese-Malaysian fusion restaurant) and plan B was Plan B (lol).  In the end Plan B was chosen because less customers in Waku-Waku, perhaps Plan B is nicer?

Heard of Plan B quite some times ago, finally a new branch was opened in Mid Valley.  Since their sandwiches was highly recommended in other food blogs, so I gave a try.

The Loaded Club Sandwich (RM21). With grilled chicken, turkey bacon and egg mayo.
It came with salad and home-made chips as side dishes.
The taste was good except the salad and it was quite a big portion for me.

Sky juice was served in amber glass bottle sort of like chemicals.  Haha.
Photo taken using my new xperia phone, so the dimensions differ from camera.
SC die die said her shot was better than mine, so I just put hers up here la.

Me and SC
Birthday celebration without birthday cake is a big No No. Thus, 2nd round at Alexis. It was my second time to be there and I'm sure I will re-visit again and again coz I mad love their cakes!!

Birthday cake for the birthday girl. Forgot the name of it but the taste was freakingly good. Yummy~
Group photo :)
#2: Mille crepe @Food Foundry, section 17.
Kinda miss the mille crepe I had at Nadeje Cafe, Malacca last time. Heard mille crepe is availabe in Food Foundry too, so went there with KC during the long weekend. The taste was good but texture slightly different from the one in Malacca. I think the one in Malacca still the best :p

Mango mille crepe
#3: Hiking at Broga Hills.
Went there with KC too.  One word to describe the experience : adventurous. It was raining cats and dogs about 20 minutes after we reached to the first peak. We were like dilemma whether to stay there until rain stopped or leave.  In the end, we followed the second option as the cold temperature was killing us and most people were leaving that time.  Since, it was raining heavily, the road was damn muddy and slippery.  There were a few times when I lost my balance and almost fell down. What in my mind was only "OMG, I don't want to die".. Lol.

Luckily we leave Broga Hills safely in one piece. All thanks to the people who lend their hands even though we do not know each other.  And KC for sure :)

This was how I looked like after hiking under pouring rain = wet hairs + muddy shoes

100% Sexy? Lol

*        *        *        *        *        *        *        *        *        *

Alright, have to go back to class tomorrow and it will be a big day for all the pharmacy final year students as we have to fight for choose our final year research project title >.<
God bless me please !!
