Weekly Crappy: Foodsssss

Hi lovelies, “weekly crappy” is back, which indicates hectic life is beginning soon because there are final year research project, clerkship works and test awaiting for me before I can graduate successfully.. fml. Yet, I believe in "no pain no gain", we need to put in efforts to get something back, agree?

#1: Dinner at Waku-waku @ Mid Valley

Sis came over my place for few days, went Waku-waku for the first time to have a try.  It is located at the same floor as GSC cinema, kinda attracted by the interior design.  Unlike any other Japanese restaurants, it offered fusion food such as Japanese-styled nasi lemak and char kuey teow.  We didn't have the courage to try those, so what I ordered was Tori katsu rice (as shown above) and my sis had mentaiko pasta. To be honest, what I ordered wasn't really impressive even though the portion was quite big.  But in terms of service and environment, they did a great work!

#2: New opening: Nadeje @ Two Three Square

The mille crepe in Nadeje was one of the most unforgettable food I had in Malacca.  Glad to know that they had just opened a new branch in Two Three Square, Section 19, PJ, which is so near to where I am staying.    It was quite crowded on the first day and too bad was, not many seats there :'(  So no choice, have to da pao it home.  Tried the one with mango flavor and another one called berry-berry strawberry. Both are so nice for me!

#3: Restoran Talipon @ Jalan Kuchai Lama

Friends were so eager to go, which made me wonder how good the foods are. Almost got lost while on the way there as it was not really obvious from outside.  Other than steamboat and BBQ, they did offered lou sang, fake shark fin, ice-cream and D.I.Y ice kacang as well!  Everything was in buffet style, you can choose whatever you like as long as you stomach have enough space :p It was quite a good place to gather with some friends after a long week and the big kid like me had a lot of fun to play around with the ice kacang machine, lol!

#4: Marmalade Cafe @ Bangsar Village II

KC and I were so hungry at that time, so walked in Marmalade cafe without considering much.  The decor was quite adorable inside, kids would definitely love this place.  To my surprise, not many options of food here.  And another bigger surprise, the breakfast sets available until 3pm =.=  I ordered chicken bolognese (RM23) as it is my all time favourite.  Too bad the taste was so so only and a bit too salty.

Pharmnight is around the corner again, time flies!  After searching maxi dress from Kenanga wholesale city to Bangsar village and boutiques nearby, finally got my dress in Mid Valley.. =.=
Wanna see? Hehe, let me keep it as secret first, show you after the event on coming Saturday.

Stay tuned!

Cheers!^^
