Happy Chinese New Year!

Oops, I have neglected my blog again.
So tired of working recently, not physically but mentally instead.
I guess I'm still in the phase of adapting to working life?
Dear Jane, please be tough ok?

Anyway, I think I should put aside all these negative thoughts because today is the first day of Chinese New year! (Clock striking at 12 midnight)

Hope everyone has a blissful year and wish you all Happy Chinese New Year!!!

新年快樂,萬事如意,馬到功成!

Here I end my post with the photo taken after CNY dinner with my colleagues:)

The Daily Grind @ Bangsar village

The feeling was so surreal when my thesis presentation was ended.  Had been with my final year research project from thesis proposal to presentation for almost 1 year.  Excited?  Aha, I guess I gonna miss it, lol.

So as a celebration, The Daily Grind @ Bangsar village was the place chosen after number of obstacles. Haha, all thanks to the cab drivers who refused to send us to paradigm mall initially, or else we will never have the opportunity to dine in this restaurant.

I guess burger is the signature dish for this restaurant because there are wide varieties of burger on the menu with a few options sandwich and pasta.  You can browse the menu here

Let's have a look on what we had.

Down by the sea (RM 30)
Fresh red snapper fillet with herbs, breadcrumb and served with tartar sauce.
The fillets were so crunchy and fresh at every bites.
The most important point here is, the fillets were not oily at all.
Worth to try!

Chermoula salmon fillet burger (RM 29)

Chicken chermoula avocado (RM 29)

What I really love about this restaurant is that the ingredients used in preparing food are natural and fresh.  Despite of using a lot of msg like what in most restaurants, the chef enhances the food flavor by adding herbs and spices which make the foods less salty and less oily.  Other than that, the ketchup and chili sauce were made by themselves without adding any preservative.  It's a good place to dine if you opt for natural and healthy food.

Here end the review with my puffy face, lol

Till then, see you again! ^^

DRAGON YEAR

Hey, it's 11th day of CNY.
How was your CNY? Got pocketful of Ang Pow? Lol
Mine was just an ordinary Chinese New Year like previous years.
Snacks, Ang pow, card games (no gambling : p), house to house visiting were those "must-have" elements during CNY.

Here are some photos taken before and during CNY : D

PRE-CNY
Went shopping at Time square, Sungai Wang, Pavillion in one day!

Lou Sang at BBQ Plaza @ Sungai Wang
Price: RM18++
Shu Cheat and Yoon See
Jey Vonn and Me

Pavillion @ Bukit Bintang
Nothing can be criticized about their decoration.

DURING CNY
Just like previous years, on 2nd day of CNY, I went my aunt's house (my mom's 娘家) to bai nian a.k.a. take ang pow from relatives. Lol
It was so crowded there but I love the way it was. Credits added to firecrackers and lion dance ^^

My big family photo :)
4 sisters + 1 cousin bro
(Actually I'm kinda hesitating to upload this photo as "cute" outfit really looked weird on me T_T)

Other than that, lou sang with hometown's besties! Hehe..
From left: Yan Mun, Me, Choy Yuen, Choo Yee, Pui Kee

This is the "n"th round lou sang in my house..Huat arrrr!!!
This camera mode I used is "super vivid"

Not many photos I took for this CNY, so I guess I shall end my post here.
Gained so much weight so it's time to diet >.<  (Pharmnight is coming, I need to fit in my dress arr....)

Anyway, have a good year ahead, xoxo :)
