What Makes You Beautiful?

Okay. Let's take a break from the Taiwan overloaded post.

To be honest, it took me a lot of courage before I had decided to upload the photo above.  I was like:

"Seriously?"

"Damn, looked like shit in earlier years"

I hope it didn't freak you out at first look.  If I were the judge of funny photo contest, I would rate 9/10 for the first photo.  Who else in this world still perm her hair this way? Haha, it was me three years ago.  I was not born with big eyes, sharp nose, small mouth or flawless skin, which are commonly classified as the features of a so-called pretty girl.  I had zero sense of fashion and had no idea of how to dress up myself properly (needless to talk about putting on makeups) until I entered university. Eyes shadow, foundation, mascara, eyeliner and lipstick were sort of strange to me.  Luckily there's no ugly women but lazy women in this world (世上沒有醜女人，只有懶女人）.  It sounds like a cliche though, you gotta agree with it.  After experimenting throughout these years, I'm proud to have the changes on myself.  Not to say I'm very pretty now, at least I'm better looking and presentable (ahem). :D

Perhaps you will say "I'm so ugly, nothing else can save me except plastic surgery".  Then I would like to tell you that it's not the only way.  Instead of aiming to be pretty, try aim to be attractive.  The word 'attractive' comes in two ways: physical appearance and personalities.  A women can be attractive even if she doesn't have pretty face but with matching outfits and good personalities.  Likewise, a good looking women with bad taste of dressing up and devil personalities is not attractive at all!

To improve my physical appearance, I started to learn putting on makeups before the first ball in my university life.  From the simplest step of applying foundation to the more advance step of putting falsies, I learned step by step from youtube as well as magazines.  By simply typing the keywords such as 'makeup tutorial', thousands video will pop out.  Or to be more specific, you can type something like 'gyaru makeup' (japanese) or 'ulzzang makeup' (korean) to learn different makeup styles.

To improve my sensitivity to latest trends of fashion, I always refer to magazines such as Cleo and Sisters.  Besides, fashion bloggers Cheesis and Chuckei are my fashion icons too.  Love the ways they match their daily outfits.  By observing how people dressing up themselves, I'm sure you can learn a few tips which are sufficient to give you a nice look.  The important point here is, never afraid of or get tired of trying.  Keep trying until you found the style which suits you the most.

Of course, bear in mind that miracle will not happen without putting in effort, you will not suddenly wake up in the morning and see Angelina Jolie's face in the mirror.  Lol.

Hellooo There

Hello ladies and gentlemen, old man and children, tuan-tuan and puan-puan, uncles and aunties, finally I can declare this: 

I had finished my last exam in my uni!

A big thank you for the supports, encouragement, criticism and lot of loves which keeping me up till today! 

So what's next? Thesis presentation? Nah, keep it aside and let's enjoy first! HAHA

Sad Story @ Manhattan Fish Market

Please don't expect me to write something great or fabulous in this post.

I never go Manhattan Fish Market before. Thus, when I saw this promotion, I was like "Hooray!", SPECIAL PROMOTION FOR STUDENTS! 

Went there happily with KC just now and thought we can enjoy the great deal.
Too bad, missed out a line stated "except eve and public holiday".

DAMN, tomorrow is a public holiday for the installation of new king!! Fml.

No choice, we had already entered the restaurant and not dare enough to walk out without making order. (I think they will curse me till die if I do so : p)

This was the Manhattan Fish 'n Chips I ordered.

Hmm, say frankly this was not the best fish and chips I ever had. Some more,  the vege beside were really vege only because the salad sauce given was too little till I couldn't taste it at all : p

So, End of story.

血光之灾

For those who just came back from sem break, how was your holiday and how was your first day of lecture?

Well, my holiday was fine but my first day of lecture was not that good.

Why am I telling this is, because I had 血光之灾 this morning... T.T

It's hurt even when I'm typing this post.. T.T

I Dyed My Hair !!

Hey people!
After resting at home, or should say doing nothing at home for months, finally my extremely long holiday is going to end soon.
In other words, I am going to start my class soon and becoming a third year student officially.. woohoo!

New semester with new resolution and new hairstyle of course :)
Actually nothing much I had done with my hair this time. Just cut it to a bit shorter (1 or 2 inches) and had dyed it!
Hehe, instead of doing it in salon, I dyed my hair all by myself. The product I used was Liese bubble and the color I chose was marshmallow brown.
Honestly this product was kinda convenient to use, ie can do it alone and not really harsh to hair but maybe the color I chose was too dark, so the outcome was not as pretty as I had expected and not really obvious :(

Here is the result :

Hopefully the color can be brighter after washing hair for few times, hehe.

Used - to - be

I used to be a happy girl. I use the phrase "used to" doesn't mean that I am not happy with my life now, just have a feeling that I am not like how I was before. Sleep less, talk less, even smile less.
When the assignments, tests come, everyone just scratching their head, hoping to have some ideas in solving those problems. Yet, what's usually happen is, I look at you, you look at me and there's no conclusion come out after a long discussion.
My friend told me not to complain too much, as it's what we called "life" is.
Yea, perhaps it's true. We should see everything at the positive side, instead of blaming, blaming and still blaming :P
And now, I am learning. =)
