First Time in ROCK ZONE

Helloooooo! In super good mood since yesterday morning because I had submitted my thesis finally! Hooray!!  Thought wanna sleep earlier yesterday night, but in the end had a super full meal with buddies and stayed up until 1am plus =P  One word best described my feeling after submitting thesis ->! I can't find any better word to replace it, HAHA.

Now back to topic. As you can see from the title, I won the contest of K-pop Dream Concert Live in Malaysia.  Once again, a big thank you to Nuffnang and RWGenting for giving me the chance!

When I received the email:

I was like:

"Walao eh, sure or not? Rock zone tickets, theme park ride passes plus free accommodation in Awana Hotel?!! So damn freaking good! I must be dreaming now!"

After slapping myself and refreshing my mail inbox a few times then only I believed I really had won the prizes LOL. Was in dilemma whether to go or not (kpop fans must be cursing me right now) because my thesis was not completed yet at that time.  In the end I was like “死就死吧,不去白不去”, whole package worth RM 1996 leh, it gonna be too wasting if I was not going.

Luckily I had made a right decision because it was truly a great experience! Fyi, it was my first time in rock zone! So unexpected it was not in Mayday's concert, haha.

Tagged along my younger sis this time who is a super kpop fans.  After grabbing the concert tickets from Darren, we were already in the super excited mood!  Anyway let me show you first the freaking luxury and spacious room I had in Awana Hotel! =)

Two double beds for 2 persons

Super spacious, which took me 20 minutes to roll from one end to another lol

Nice view from balcony
Looking at these photos made me miss the room there more :/

Can't wait to see the concert's photo?
Finally the important moment had arrived! Since the concert was held in Arena of Stars, we took a shuttle bus from Awana Hotel to First World Hotel and walked from there. By the time we reached, a lot of fans already there in super high mood!

Me

My sis
The concert started sharp at 8.30pm and the atmosphere was warmed up by performance from SISTAR! Took all the following photos without zooming my camera, so you can estimate how close I was to the stage! HAHA.  No doubt, each and every member of Sistar is really pretty leh!

SISTAR

The next group was 4minute.  Everyone went crazy when 4minute appeared on stage. Any 4minute fans here?
4minute
Yay, finally it was my favourite G. Na's turn! She started her performance with the song "Oops" ft Ilhoon from BTOB leh! Her smile was so sweet, I believe a lot of  guys must have fallen in love with her! *Humming oOps Oops oOps OOps*
G.Na

The concert was continued with performance from Born to Beat (BTOB). Never know they're so handsome one because look so much better in real person than in photos leh! BTOB's fans please don't kill me =P
BTOB

Last but not least: Brown Eyes Girls! Really can't stop looking at their sexy dance moves!
Brown Eyes Girls

In overall the concert was quite good, all of them sing well and dance well.  The feeling was so unreal when they were in the distance of less than 1 meter from me! OMG! Unfortunately, the concert was kinda short, it ended in about 1 hour 30 min :(((( #unexpected

Guess what I did after the concert?

Tadaa!
Doing thesis LOL
So damn hardworking, give me a round applause please! haha

On the next day, together with other bloggers, we were so lucky to get invited for the new ride in Genting outdoor themepark: Stinger!  It was something combining the thrills of a roller coaster and the fun of a water ride! Was quite nervous before trying it out but after trying it: ehh, not bad wor!  You must try it for the next time you visit genting outdoor themepark! Don't worry of getting wet because something like raincoat will be provided :))

So this is the "before" photo
Thanks to blogger Yuhjiun for helping to take this photo <3 p="">

And this is the "after" photo
My sis got her hairs all wet because she was sitting at the front part of the ride meanwhile I remained dry, haha. So the tips: If you don't want to get wet at all, sit at the back of the ride like me!

So that's all for this post, I need to get ready for my last lecture in uni :((
Again, thanks to Nuffnang and RWGenting for giving me such a wonderful weekend!
Here I end the post with my selca photo! (the lighting in hotel room was so nice until I couldn't stop from being vain and selca non-stop =P)

Till then, see you next time! xoxo

My 4th, the last Pharmnight

Went Pharmnight (Pharmacy Night) last Saturday. I can't believe time flies without us noticing, it was the 4th Pharmnight I had in this pharmacy course, i.e. the last Pharmnight to be with this bunch of awesome people.

For those who don't know, Pharmnight is an annual event usually organize by final year students.  Due to certain factors, the trend was changed, third year students gonna be the organizer for this event starting from this year. Compared to other batches, perhaps it was a big loss to my batch for not organizing the event since this would be a great memory to be kept in mind after we graduate. However, I truly appreciate their efforts for making this event a success! Without them, I guess I definitely won't able to survive through the last freaking hectic semester.

Words can't explain how great was the event, so better let photos tell the story.

Venue: Grand Seasons Hotel, KL.
Date: 2 March 2013

Pharmnight was all about dressing up nicely and taking tonnes of photo. So I think you can scroll down slightly faster since most are photos only :p

Did my own makeup, Ulzzang's inspired makeup and hairdo, how do you think??

My whole batch. Together we stand, together we fall. The dust and dawn we went through these 4 years shall be kept in everyone's mind eternally.
Here I end with my batch's performance of the night, singing Sempurna and You raise me up ^^

 Goodnight people!

Ps: Photos without my watermark were taken from friend's fb.

Review of Flight

First time watching premiere screening, all thanks to Nuffnang for the free tickets!
It was a movie directed by Robert Zemeckis, starring Denzel Washington, with Don Cheadle, Melissa Leo, Bruce Greenwood, Kelly Reilly, and John Goodman.

The movie began with Captain Whitaker (Denzel Washington), an alcoholic pilot with cocaine snorts and vodka before taking off.  A strong turbulence woke him up instantly during the flight.

This photo is not inverted, but the plane.

Jesus, the plane was crashed into pieces.  But miraculously, out of 102 passengers, 96 were alive.  Whip was hailed as the hero for saving the 96 souls soon by then. However, nobody knew what was really happening on the plane and the reasons behind this accident.

He tried to convince everyone and even himself that, without him, no one can survive in this tragedy because no other pilot can handle the mid-air catastrophe like he did. He blamed the weather, he blamed the plane which was not well maintained.

When he was being investigated by the enforcement and at high chance of being imprisoned for whole life, he  even tried to persuade Nicole, the person he met when he was hospitalized after the accident to run away with him.  He was insane especially when his son refused to treat him as dad.

Between freedom and truth, he had chosen the later one. He couldn't lie anymore and he had to tell the truth.

To my surprise, I thought the plane crash would be the climax of this movie but it was more focusing on the story of captain Whitaker after the plane crash. You can catch this movie in cinemas starting from tomorrow onward!

Reminder: It might freak you out if you watch it on plane or right before boarding :p

The tickets
That's all, see u! ^^

Dazzling Pharmnight 2012

See, I changed my blog skin again!
The photo above was taken during the pharmnight last night.
Fyi, pharmnight is an annual dinner organized by our final year seniors.
The venue for this time is Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur (5 stars). #wink

Just like previous few years, pharmnight = dress up like a queen + taking tonnes of photos + eat like a lady.. lol
People even said, shouldn't show more than 8 teeth when you smile..=.=

Since I'm in economy crisis now (JPA hasn't bank in money to me yet #cry), so from head to toe, I mean the make up n hair do all DIY by myself. Anyway. I'm quite proud and happy with my "art work" actually. Haha.

A close up on my face (please ignore the funny hair clip on my head).

Oh yea, last but not least, the FOOD. No photo taken on the dishes because we starved like a zombie that time, so once the food arrived, we ate like the hungry tigress. Oops... : p

Generally, it was a great event without counting on some technical problems occurred during multimedia presentation. Starting from next year, Pharmnight will be handled by 3rd year students. In another words, my batch will not have the chance to organize this event. Good or bad news? Hmm, both pros and cons are there. However, needless to say, we will not be able to experience the same thing like other batches.

Anyway, congratulation to final year seniors for making this event successful and all the best for the next team of pharmnight committee :)

NoGAPS Rock !!!!!

National Gathering of Pharmacy Students (NoGAPS) was successfully held from 9th to 13th June 2011. Ten years ago, this annual event was first launched in UM. After ten years, we became the host for this event again.

Initially, I was a member for the sponsorship bureau only. However, just before the study week started, one of my friends, Siow Hoong who was from Programme and Protocol bureau was recruiting ushers for the Gala night (closing ceremony for NoGAPS). Thus, I joined without much hesitating. Other than that, I was selected to be the group leader of group 5 too. Needless to say, this event gave me a lot of fun.

During the first three days (6th - 8th June), we were busy for the rehearsal for opening ceremony and closing ceremony. Actually the works for usher were quite easy only. We just needed to remember the VIP that we needed to usher and the position to stand. Yet, the time that we spent on waiting for the rehearsal made me felt helpless the most.. :p
See, beautiful ushers with emcee, floor master and stage master of the Gala night! ^^

"Number five , number five, we are fast and furious FIVE !!"
This was the cheers for group 5. It was my pleassure for being selected as the group leaders for this group. Actually my jobs were more and less the same as a facilitator, those were taking care of the group members and make sure they attended each and every activities. Somemore my group members were just so nice, so it was not really tiring for being a group leader. From ice-breaking session in the beginning till gala night in the end, it was really good to know them.  They came from different universities in different states but sharing the same characteristic : They were just so amazing!

Front row (from left) : Yi Syian, Leevanea, Cynthia, Mukand, Siti Aishah, Nur Atiqah, ME
Back row (from left) : Xin Yun, Ashivinni, Jia Wen, Hayatun, Sole, Heather, Aainaa, Nur Fatihah

Wow, I love this picture so much <3

These two photos was taken during explorace at Muzium Seni Asia in UM. It was on my birthday actually. I bet this gonna be the most "memorable" birthday in my lifetime :p

During Gala night ^^

NoGAPS was an undoubtedly great experience for me. The opening ceremony, ice-breaking session, explorace, dare to show, gala night and etc. Although we might never see each other again in coming days, I believe we will keep each and everyone we met during this superb event deep in our heart.

NoGAPS rock !!!
